Porter’s Oyster Bar will re-open on April 28, 2008.
Crystal Lake's well known restaurant has returned to once again serve the Crystal Lake area.
Porter's offers steak, seafood and a raw bar. Yellowtails Sports Bar & Grill is a new feature of Porter's. Located in a newly remodeled area, Yellowtails features a number of large screen tv's and a sophisticated sound system.
“We’re keeping the concept of Porter’s and retrofitting the back area,” owner Gregg Sherman said. “We’ll offer upscale dining – with steak, seafood and a raw bar.”
The 10,500-square-foot restaurant is at 446 W. Virginia St. in Crystal Lake, IL.
